Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and maintaining proper storage and disposal practices.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, equipment, and waste materials while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, and high-touch areas regularly to promote a healthy environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and related tools.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following proper safety protocols and handling safety procedures for chemical use.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocol adherence.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to support team collaboration and facility needs.
