Temple Shalom in West Newton is looking for a couple more Wednesday teachers for our Jewish Learning and Living Program. Lesson plans are provided. Teachers adapt plans to their students. Looking for motivated, excited, and enthusiastic teachers who are willing to meet students where they are at and are flexible in how they are teaching. Support and Training available.
Schedule: 1:30-6:00 needed
12:30-1:30- Monitor students over lunch, recess and homework time with two other teachers (optional)
1:30-2:30- Teach K-1 Jewish Learning
2:30-3:30- Teach K-1 Jewish Living (multi-age; multi-choice; electives)
3:30-4:00- Monitor, support, supervise students during clergy led T’filah
4:00-5:00- Support Jewish Living for grade 2-5 (multi-age; multi-choice; electives)
5:00-6:00- Teach Hebrew (6th grade Prayer Hebrew or 1 to 1 Decoding Catch up)
