Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty
- Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions with precision to achieve desired looks
- Use salon software such as Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their needs and deliver personalized styling solutions
- Assist with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients and managing appointment flow
- Mentor newer team members on techniques such as barbering, color theory, and store management practices to foster a collaborative environment
Experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barbering professional
- Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques and hair care products
- Familiarity with salon software like Vagaro for appointment booking and client management
- Hands-on experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and retail upselling
- Understanding of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Ability to manage retail sales math accurately while promoting products that support healthy hair habits

Pay: $24.53 - $29.55 per hour
