Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures’ vision is to build a new kind of venture capital platform, making the best private companies in the world accessible to retail investors everywhere in service of Confidential (Registered Users Only)'s broader mission to democratize finance for all. Through our publicly traded funds in Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures Fund I and Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures Fund II we’ve already invested in companies like OpenAI, Databricks, Ramp, and more - and we’re just getting started.
As an Investment Intern in Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures you will be a core part of our lean team. You will research, evaluate, and support investments across the Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures platform, with a focus on late-stage investments.
This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Research and sourcing - You’ll research markets and sectors that you believe we should be paying attention to, and then identify the key companies in them that Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures needs to meet.
- Investment evaluation - You’ll be a key part of the deal team for investments we evaluate. You’ll own core diligence workstreams like the financial model, competitive analysis, and help shape investment theses.
- Platform building - You’ll work with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and more to help build experiences in the Confidential (Registered Users Only) app to further differentiate Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures for both retail investors and portfolio companies.
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company, with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research; late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus
- Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and the private companies driving them — you proactively form opinions on key trends and companies
- An existing network in the startup ecosystem, or the drive to build one, that can help Confidential (Registered Users Only) Ventures identify and connect with promising companies
- Proven ability to work independently in lean, high-output environments, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
