Requirements
3+ years of proven experience in game level design, preferably in mobile puzzle or physics based games;
Strong understanding of puzzle design, physics based mechanics, difficulty progression, and player psychology;
Ability to design levels around trajectories, collisions, destruction, and chain reactions;
Experience balancing levels to make solutions understandable, challenging, and satisfying;
Ability to iterate quickly based on playtesting, player feedback, and analytics;
Good knowledge of Unity3D Editor and level design tools;
Ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, product owners;
Ability to communicate design ideas clearly in written or verbal form;
Familiarity with the mobile gaming market and current trends;
A portfolio demonstrating levels you designed for shipped or playable games;
Advanced level of English or higher;
Unity3D development experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deliver engaging levels for a mobile physics based puzzle game;
Create varied challenges using the game’s characters, abilities, obstacles, and environmental mechanics;
Introduce mechanics gradually and develop a difficulty curve that keeps players engaged;
Playtest levels, identify unclear or frustrating moments, and refine the gameplay experience;
Use player feedback and analytics to adjust level difficulty and improve engagement;
Collaborate with the development and product teams to ensure levels function correctly and meet visual and gameplay standards;
Contribute new level concepts and combinations of mechanics to keep the game fresh for players.
