Your Role:
As a Machine Operator at Warren Truck & Trailer, LLC, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to product plans and production schedules.
- Measure, align, and position metal sheets and plates to form parts.
- Read product drawings to determine proper angles and bends, using tools like a protractor to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined in the Warren Truck & Trailer Handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned while participating in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1+ years of experience operating a CNC machine.
Ability to read, interpret, and follow product drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
- Strong ability to monitor gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure machines are running properly.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work primarily in a shop environment that is not temperaturecontrolled.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Fulltime position requiring punctuality and readiness to work daily.
- Business hours are determined by the manager, with mandatory overtime as needed.
