Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Required- Prior work experience- Preferred, but not required
- Licenses and Certifications- Required
- State of Maryland Health Services'NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Nuclear Medicine Technologist license- Required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification- Required
Compensation

Responsibilities
Meet with patients to obtain their medical histories and explain diagnostic procedures and tests
- Determine and prepare the equipment and supplies required for stress tests
- Prepare and administer the proper dose of radiopharmaceuticals to patients by injection
- Analyze diagnostic image results
- Work under the supervision of physicians and in coordination with other medical professionals
Create and update patient records
