We’re looking for a highly analytical, resourceful, and detail-oriented Partnerships Research Associate to support one of our Partnerships Divisions (Productions, Events, Programs, Music, Brands & Corporate, or Athletics).
Position Summary
The Partnerships Research Associate is responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying organizations and professionals who align with CME Circle’s partnership initiatives. You’ll build strategic prospect lists, gather market intelligence, identify relationship opportunities, and provide the Partnerships Lead with well-researched information that supports successful outreach and long-term partnership growth.
Your work will help ensure our team spends its time pursuing the highest-value partnership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Research prospective partners within your assigned Partnerships Division.
- Build and maintain qualified prospect databases.
- Identify key decision-makers and verify contact information.
- Research organizations, industry trends, and partnership opportunities.
- Evaluate prospective partners based on established qualification criteria.
- Prepare research summaries and partnership briefs for the Partnerships Lead.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and research documentation.
- Monitor industry news and identify emerging partnership opportunities.
- Support outreach strategy through market and competitive research.
- Collaborate with Operations and Communications Associates to ensure research remains organized and actionable.
Qualifications
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to organize large amounts of information efficiently.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, company websites, industry publications, and online research tools.
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Experience in market research, recruiting, sales research, business development support, or administrative research is preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
