Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew responsible for tree trimming, pruning, planting, and removal activities.
- Coordinate construction projects related to landscaping, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance.
- Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure healthy landscapes.
- Operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Identify various plant species and diagnose horticultural issues to maintain healthy trees and plants.
- Oversee crew safety protocols, ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards during outdoor work.
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed projects to meet company standards and client expectations.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with crew management in outdoor settings.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Skilled in plant identification and diagnosing plant health issues.
- Experience with construction projects involving landscaping or hardscape features.
- Ability to operate irrigation systems and grounds maintenance equipment confidently.
- Leadership qualities with excellent team management skills to motivate and guide crew members.
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including pruning, cabling, bracing, and removal procedures.
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
- Experience with company vehicle operation ensuring safe transportation of tools and crew members.
- Background in construction or landscaping projects emphasizing quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Pay: $29.85 - $35.13 per hour
